A well constructed sty that shelters over 70 pigs

Walking through the Farm in the early morning, I decided to visit the piggery and what I found was really surprising. Before this, I knew all the pigs were fond of making noise and eating but it was the opposite on this farm, I found the pigs resting in their clean respective rooms. This caught my attention and I asked Emmanuel, one of the workers why everything was the way I was seeing it and he told me, “These animals know when feeding time comes, they can’t make noise until that time comes”. Well if it was this way, then I wished all animals were trained in this same manner.

 

 

Jesus Christ Moving through the Community

Yesterday the 18^th of June, the Holy Catholic Church celebrated the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. The Holy Eucharist at Don Bosco CALM began with an exquisite entrance chant led by the eloquent voices of Makerere College School choristers who sang to the beat of drums, piano and guitar. The Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Elie Nyandwi who preached about the Body and Blood of Jesus; his reflection involved a joint participation with the congregation, he asked different questions concerning food and animals which were answered by the pupils of Don Bosco Primary School and Makerere College School Students. The Celebrant emphasized the relevance of food to animals; if animals don’t eat, they perish. Therefore if man fails to eat the Body of Jesus, his Spirit dies and misses eternal life that the Body and Blood of Jesus offer.

“Destroy this temple and I will build it in three days” In the earliest periods I thought it differently, I used to think Jesus meant the destruction of the real structure not knowing He was the Temple Himself. But still, He could build the destructed structure in three days and this new structure that He constructs would now be unshakable and unbreakable. When I look onto the fastest ongoing construction of any structure; I just remember John 2:19.

The happiest moments of parents include seeing their child grow. They do whatever it takes to bring out a well-shaped person. They suffer all the pains and cost in favor of their lovely child. However, times come when the pup is now a mature responsible human being who now begins to carry on the same tasks that were once done for him. He begins catering for the needs of the parents. The same story might be same between plants and man.

On Sunday of the Holy Trinity Solemnity at about 1PM, the bell for lunch was rung and the boys orderly marched for lunch to feed their bodies.
