 Don Bosco Kira Mulawa vs Nbalawa Rangers

The game took off at 5.00 pm – 30 minutes late – not unusual for Uganda. Mzee Bro. Robert Dias was there to witness this game on Kira Town grounds from start to finish. My trip was made possible courtesy Fr Jean- Marie Mushibwe.The first half saw both keepers tested. At one moment our keeper Silver made a brilliant save as the ball was dipping into the net. Both teams were testing their football strength.

A good  family can has its father, mother and children,  having its own programs whenever their children get their holidays.At  Don Bosco Calm, -which houses nearly 200 boys-marginalized-has no parents but there foster parents who look after us. They are Salesian Priests and Bothers helped by uncles, aunties. A part from this, volunteers arrive from Poland –men and women to do voluntary missionary work. The  education of these children is their part and major concern, apart from board plus lodge and Medicare, from primary one to the university level. But the big number is being taken to Vocation Training Institutes both Bombo and Kamuli  after  their primary level.

It was on Sunday 8th, September 2013 when Don Bosco FC played with Busibante FC at Kira Play ground..The kick off time for the game was at 2:40 pm, evening,  when these was a sudden burst of heavy rain   before the game however  it did not prevent  the referee from  starting  the much.After early exchanges that saw Kayiwa Richard and Julius failing to  capitalize  the many chances they had, including the latter’s  brilliant header from close range that implored a champion class save from Busibante FC goal keeper. The first half control of the game was  with Don Bosco FC.
