    Home visit to                                                                 some of the neighborhood

Yesterday Fr. Venuste and Br. Hubert carried on home visitation to some of the boys like TABULA Simon Gabriel, and MUGUME Joseph who live near by the community. According to the confreres’ report and the photos they took showed that the young boys are really very happy in their families and in their guardians’ families.

The foundation is now out as you can see from the photo above. This morning visiting the site, I found that the foundation of the new building has been raised from the underground to the ground level. This is quite promising that by the end of this month of January the construction will be at least at the window level if they continue with the same speed of working .

                First breaks laid on the foundation

Yesterday the constructions with breaks began, they began with the wires then poured the slab and then the break constructions began yesterday. Today they are leveling the grounds and digging the other foundations for the office provisions .Asking KYOBE Reagan and ISANGA Richard who are among the men constructing as well as the old boys of Don Bosco calm on how they are finding the work, they said that the work is running on smoothly by the grace of God and the help of the people are accompanying them in prayers .

The engineer and his team are working hard to see that the house is raised on a solid foundation to avoid the break down by the wind. This is proved by the slab they have started pouring in the bottom of the foundation this photo was taken yesterday .

                   The piggery in rampart growth

Before the end of last year 2016,three sows gave birth to some piglets which added to the total of 115 heads of pigs in our farm, this shows how good the work is and the cause of this rampart growth of pigs  is the high quality feeds and hygienic area of raring these animals the two workers in the farm are doing their level best to see that these animals feed well and sleep in a clean Environment ,changing of diet for these pigs .

            New classroom block foundation

The Salesian community of Namugongo extends its sincere new year  wishes to all of you who read these articles .We thank the almighty God who has kept us through out the past year and has lead us to the beginning of this new year 2017.As the community of Namugongo ,we would like to put to your notice that  the extension of the new classrooms blocks  at Don Bosco primary school Kira Mulawa is already in progress .
