If you trust Jesus you can be sure that your road is correct. We are a volunteers of the Salesian Voluntary Movement of Don Bosco. Our arrival to Calm was preceded a year of preparations for the trip to the Salesian Mission Centre of Warsaw. It was a time of spiritual discernment and his vocation. Time devoted to prayer, establishing relationships with other people, meetings with missionaries and volunteers returning from the missions. With a backpack full of uncertainty we started our trip to Africa which was interesting to go where we have never been. So it was nice experience to board the plane to Uganda. It was wonderful trip and the welcome at the airport and the Calm was warm and joyful, meeting difference people, the weather, food. Most we had our first mass at Calm Don Bosco was amazing on which dominated the African drums and beautiful voices pupils Calm. St. Augustine said that: „Who sings well prays twice”. We felt these few words are true. First two weeks which we spent with boys were beautiful, devoted to preparation for Christmas. We hope that it will be a very special time for all of us.
