Home visit to
some of the neighborhood
Yesterday Fr. Venuste and Br. Hubert carried on home visitation to some of the boys like TABULA Simon Gabriel, and MUGUME Joseph who live near by the community. According to the confreres’ report and the photos they took showed that the young boys are really very happy in their families and in their guardians’ families.
The confreres said that both parents and guardians are equally happy to be with their children at home for these long moments of holidays, they said it is quite important because it helps them to know and share with their children some of the social experiences and to show to their children parental love and care just as other parents do to their children. They encouraged this holiday program by saying that it is crucial for both children and parents. The visit carried on was also a kind of love and care we have towards the children we care for and as the children we have been with; we also feel that we are missing their presence as well.
