THE 21ST SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME: “WHO DO THE PEOPLE SAY I AM?”

On the 27th of August, we celebrated the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Holy Eucharistic Celebration was led by Rev. Fr. Abel, a Salesian Priest from Kenya with the help of three other co-celebrant Salesian Priests; Rev Fr. Elie, Rev. Fr. Felix and Rev. Fr. Denis from Bombo. In his preaching, Fr. Abel requested the faith do everything within in the grace of Jesus Christ. “Be it talking, walking, driving, be it everything; let it be done within the grace of God as along as its being done by a Christian”

He further went ahead to explain more on the question of “Who the people say I am?” and called us to give a chance to Jesus Christ enter into our hearts. The whole congregation joined in the worship and praise but great recognition goes to Don Bosco CALM students from St. Mary’s Bombo, Kamuli VTC and VTC Bombo who had much emphasis in the hymns that were presented.
