Last Saturday February 16, 2019 at CALM, took place a solemn celebration of Don Bosco. As soon as the Children arrived from the long holidays of December, they were mobilized to start the preparations such as Choir singing, and other items for entertainment such as cultural and modern dances, drama, brass band and acrobatics. The Archbishop of Kampala was invited to honor the celebration, but due to other commitments, he could not make it and come. He decided to delegate Fr. Peter Kisamba Mugerwa, the Parish Priest of Ngoma (Kasana Luwero Diocese). Fr. Peter celebrated the Mass together with the three salesian priests of CALM. Diverse groups of young people were represented. Among them there were our beneficiaries from Don Bosco Nursery and Primary School, Makerere college students, Majorine students, Past Pupils of CALM, workers, and neighboring christians. All of them were actively present during the celebration. At the end of the event, the friendly football match was organized between pupils of Primary 6 versus Primary 7. The winners were Primary Seven with the score of 4 against 2.
