A Time to wash at Don Bosco Namugongo

Every Saturday, Children of Don Bosco CALM, have the proper time to wash their school uniforms and personal clothes. For those who are young, Aunt not only helps them but also teaches them how to wash properly since most of them are not brought up from basic homes. They also wash their school uniforms during the course of the week only in the evenings when they come back from school. However time in the evenings is limited hence making Saturday a convenient day for general cleaning and washing. Basically general washing is done on Saturday but one is also free to wash on Sunday after the prayers (morning Mass). They are taught to be clean and smart both body and mind. We thank the young ones for the positive response during the weekends.

We continue to thank all our benefactors who provide the little that they have to the poor and abandoned children as they continue to live better and happier at Don Bosco CALM Community. Not forgetting to thank also the Social workers who instill good morals and behaviors to the children since they come from different family backgrounds to make them better citizens.
