Kirabo John Bosco at Don Bosco Calm-Namugongo

Kirabo John Bosco was born in 2007 in Namaliga Bombo, Luwero district. He is a healthy looking boy only that he is normally disturbed by flue and cough and minor injuries like any other small boys. The parents of Bosco are not known. On 16th /Feb/2008, Kirabo at approximately the age of nine months was found abandoned at the entrance of the parish of the Salesians of Don Bosco Namaliga in Bombo Luwero district. The parish priest immediately contacted the local council chairperson who advised him to report the case to Bombo police station. He was then taken to a babies’ home at the missionaries of charity sisters in Kampala.

On the 23rd/Jan/2012, Kirabo on the request of the sisters, was transferred to Don Bosco CALM for rehabilitation and care. The name kirabo was given to him by Rev. Fr. Arasu who picked him and it literally means a “gift”. He is now at the center receiving care and guidance with other boys. John Bosco was brought at the center on 23rd Jan 2012. John Bosco goes to Rise and Shine primary school and he is primary two class. His performance is good a reason to why he was promoted to primary two and we believe at the end of this year he will be promoted to primary three.
