This Wednesday 01/10/2014, the pupils of Kira primary school have massively responded at the Eucharistic Celebration at Don Bosco CALM. According to the tradition, every first Wednesday of each month, the Salesians of Don Bosco CALM community celebrate the Holy Mass to the pupils of Kira primary school. It was about 11.00 AM under heavy rain that 3 buses full of children of Kira primary school arrived within our compound. The children were singing and shouting of joy. Immediately they went straight and fervently in the Chapel accompanied by their teachers and guardians. Then Fr. Elie, the spiritual animator of Don Bosco CALM community presided over the Mass. Songs were very well sung with beautiful voices of the children. Their mistress was just only giving the tune and the rest of the children faithful could continue easily. In his homely Fr. Elie invited the children of Kira primary school to follow the example of the Saint of the day, Saint Theresa of the child Jesus by remaining humble and pure of both body and heart like her. They have been also reminded to love our blessed Virgin Mary whom this month of October is dedicated to. The prayer of the Rosary and other Marian prayers or songs will be the living and practical sign of Love to our Heavenly Mother who invites each of us to follow  closely her Son Jesus. Started at 11.15 am the Mass ended at 12.15. Then all the children with their teachers went back happily to get lunch from their place of work.
